We're a family with 3 kids and plan to spend some time abroad - hence rent out our beautiful, modern Bauhaus-style house for a maximum of 12 months. We designed and built the house ourselves in 2016/17 and love every part of it. It is well furnished and equiped with high end appliances and devices.The house has a total area of about 340 sqm, distributed over 3 levels. Additionally, you will have a garage and a roughly 600sqm beautifully maintained garden with all things kids will love (pool, play house, trampoline, soccer goals). You rent the house fully furnished, incl. all things like tableware, linen, towels, etc. The top floor consists of 1 Master Bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a dressing room; 3 Kids rooms and one large kids bath. The whole top level is floored with beautiful real wood parquet.On the ground floor, you find the large kitchen/living and dining room including a fireplace, access to the terrace + garden. Adjacent to the kitchen is a small storage room that has direct access to the garage.The terrace features a large outside dining table, a lounge area, a gas barbecue, a hollywood swing, and a fireplace.Besides, the ground floor also offers a guest room/study,the entrance area and a bathroom.In the basement, you’ll find a large guestroom (incl. instruments) that has access to a bathroom. The neighborhood is very family-friendly. It mostly consists of yound to mid-age families who moved out here from downtown Berlin to have a higher quality of life and a calmer surrounding. You will find all amenities within walking distance. Within 3 minutes of walking, you have various (grocery) shops, cafes, a gym as well as a nice whiskey and gin bar. There are also many restaurants that are great for families in walking distance and of course, if you go to Berlin, you have access to an almost infinite selection of high-class cuisines.The elementary school (which our 3 kids attend) is also 3 min and 2 different kindergartens are 5 minutes walking from our house.To get into the city takes 20min by public transport (which is very safe in Germany). The trains run every 10min during the day and every 20min after 11pm at night. It also takes about 20min by car to get to the city center - however since Berlin is a huge city, it largely depends on where exactly you want to go to.We have great relationships with our neighbors and they will help you with anything they can to get settled in and have an amazing stay.
